Breaking the ice with no clothes on

William loves his pajamas. He loves them so much that he refuses to take them off. This morning I finally got him to let me help him take them off, but he wouldn't let me put anything else on him. I did manage to get a shirt on him which he immediately began trying to pull off. So, to avoid the fight, I just let him run around in his diaper. I figure when he gets cold he'll let me put his clothes on him. Go ahead, call me a bad mom, but he is one incredibly strong 2 year old, and sometimes it's just not worth the power struggle. Anyway, he LOOOOVVES the "Don't Break the Ice" Game. He'll sit with me for nearly 30 minutes putting the little ice cubes in it then breaking them with the little hammer, over and over. So, this morning I played his favorite game with him in just a diaper because he wouldn't put anything else on. :) I just love 2 yr olds.

Robby doesn't like taking his pj's off either. Lately he has been on a kick where he has to wear a button shirt over the shirt I put on him. I usually pick my battles with him too...it's not worth the fight...and it makes him feel good to make is own choice. William's a little cuite. I love the picture! I don't think I've seen brake the ice since I was a kid. Loved that game!

My children have all had nudist phases. I used to think it was a boy thing, but I have a friend with girls who do the same thing! I agree - pick your battles. He's cute that way and I'm sure it feels great! :D
