3 Months Old Today!
William turned 3 month's old at 3:40pm this afternoon. He's been such a joy to our family. He's so sweet and happy, we're so glad he's finally here. Alan is so happy to finally have a brother. Now we're a just a "half dozen roses" of 3 girls and 3 boys.

Rice Krispies Easter Eggs
I followed a normal rice crispy treat recipe, except I divided the butter and marshmallows into four separate bowls and warmed them up to melting point in the microwave-about a minute. Then I added food coloring to each of the different bowls and the rice crispy cereal in equal amounts to each bowl. So then I had 4 different colors of rice crispy treats. Then I put different amounts of the different colors into some Jell-o egg jiggler molds to make the egg shapes. You can also probably use normal plastic eggs to shape the eggs. I worked quickly so that the treats wouldn't harden in the bowls. They turned out really pretty and good too!

This was so cute I just had to upload it. I was watching Mary's kids on Monday, and among the many cute things they did, this was the cutest. Notice the princess constumes they're wearing as Kaitlyn is playing the piano while Mya rocks on the guitar..

Don't let the cute faces fool you
Tom left for Colorado today for 10 days. He's going to the Olympic trials. Right after he left after church this afternoon, our home teachers came by and Alan and Sarah acted pretty bad while they were here. I don't know why, but our kids act way wild whenever other people visit. It's embarrasing when someone is trying to talk to us and our kids are rolling around on the floor, or jumping off the couches or throwing balls around the room like grenades. I tell them to stop and they do for a few seconds, then they whisper something like, "this is boring" and go back to other bad behaviors. Sadly, Alan wouldn't shape up, so he had to go to his room after the home teacher's left. It makes me feel bad when they act crazy because I have to be so hard on them, but if I'm not they'll continue to act like that!! There's no tougher job than being a mom.

We had chocolate pudding for dessert tonight!! YUM!!

Alan loves his baby brother. William looks a little worried...
