We decided to go ahead and decorate the tree before Tom came home. Since the kids and I are the ones that do it mainly anyway. It was a lot of fun. It's been a tough 2 months and we needed it. 
William loved dumping out the ornaments and playing in them. That's why our ornaments are plastic.

Looks like fun. We put up our tree, but haven't put any ornaments on it yet. Plastic ornaments sounds like a good idea.
